Unlike the top professional teams were the kit manufacturer pay the clubs to be able to manufacture there kits, small teams have to pay manufacturers to make kits for them.

Adidas were recently rumoured to have made a 10 year deal with Real Madrid worth £1 Billion.

As I have said before the reason for signing a long deal is to ensure the club gets consistency in their kits and guarenteed to be able to get the kits they need when they need them.

Used to have a blue strip in the 1960s, blue with thin amber stripes, white shorts, white socks. This followed the amber and navy hoops, which was preceded by blue shirts with amber collar and sleeves.

Think we're talking sky-ish blue for this latest away kit, which I don't think has been a colour we've prominantly used, although we had amber & navy with sky blue in the collar & cuffs in our kit when in the Conference at some point.

Can't remember exactly but I think it was a bit of a darker blue than sky blue.

After having spent some time reading through the three pages of this thread, I have to say that after all my many years on this football site, this one has to be one of the most entertaining, yet trivial conversations ever.

Lets hope next season brings more entertaining banter !

All the best with your new ground.  Meadowbank's ground in Dorking appears still to be in the hands of the local council with more 'final' decisions in June/July this year.

Oddly, or stategically -  We have local elections within a week.  HEY-HO !!!!
