Whatever the discount the club gets for the official kits it is great to get new shirts for next season.

New professional kits will bring in plenty of sales from both the supporters who have been going to Beaconsfield and Windsor over the last few years and also from those who are "coming back". It will hopefully give the club a big financial boost to start the season to invest where ever necessary.

As in previous seasons will supporters be given the chance to select the designs of both the home and away shirts?

I have generally thought that when a reasonable number of people vote on something that a good and sensible decision is reached..... my faith has been rocked recently by Boaty McBoatface and Horsey McHorseface though!

Gary, is it the away kit only?

Ed, As Neil has said, it is ALL the kit.

They are kit manufacturers, so they are making and supplying us with ALL the kit.

This has nothing to do with the away kit sponsorship, which is a completely separate entity.

You might want to get the title of this thread changed to say New Kit Manufacturers.

Just for clarity and to re-itetate what Neil said.

The relationship is a commercial one with Macron supplying playing and training kit to all sections of the club and merchandise through our own club shop.

It wwill be fantastic to have a consistent theme through all the kit to all the teams.

With regard to playing kit there will be a new away kit launched over the summer.

We firmly felt it would be unfair to ask supporters to buy two new shirts especially given that the home shirt was new last season. Therefore the home kit will not change much this year.

RR, I think Kay explains it pretty comprehensively in her post. The deal has been done to give the whole club a uniformed approach with just one kit supplier. The away shirt will be a different design and therefore 'new' for the coming season. The home shirt will retain the existing design colours etc so will just be a macron supplied shirt.

I'm sure if I am wrong on this reading then Kay will correct it.

Thanks for that comprehensive explanation Glover.

It just got a bit confusing when one minute we were getting a new home shirt and the next minute we weren't.

Kay has confirmed that from next season all kit used by the club will be supplied by Macron .

Bearing this in mind they will be supplying a home shirt that is as near as possible to the existing design as that is only 1 year old and so the fans will not need to buy a new home shirt.

The away kit will be totally new and hopefully will be unveiled asap , hopefully at the legends game where advanced orders will be taken.

At the time of writing, this cant be guaranteed due to design and production timescales and more info will be given closer to the date.

I have just been to my local car dealership and signed a 3 year deal with them to supply me with a new car.

Quiz time

 Are they:

A, Giving the car to me free because they are very nice people and don't want to make any money from me and go bust

B, A charity who are there to give away cars

C, A business which is charging me a competitive rate so that I am attracted to their products and still make enough for a profit.

Answers:

It is C as they are not stupid and you have to be cynical or you get ripped off.

Any one thinking it is A or B are naïve, and I am a Nigerian Prince who has £10,000,000 and would like to share it with you once you have sent me £10,000 of your own money, please pm me with your bank account number, pin number, password, mothers maiden name, date of birth and any other details I my need to empty your bank account.

Most people (except those who obviously know it all) who hear their club has signed a deal with a company wouldn't be wrong to think there was some money involved. If we going down analogy avenue then it's like saying I shop at Tescos every week but I'm going to sign a contract stating I'll shop with them for 3 years and no one else!

You will never know as it is a financial deal and the club quite rightly is not going to reveal sensitive information.
