HorshamRebel
The David Pearcy Memorial Trophy Match was played yesterday at York Rd, Maidenhead in aid of Stand Out for Autism. The Arsenal Charity Team played a Stand Out For Autism team, with Arsenal winning the trophy. There were a lots of people there to watch, so let's hope that a load of money was raised. It was also good to see a few Rebels faces in the crowd. I was there as the official charity's photographer and you can view my photos at the following link https://www.flickr.com/photos/horshamrebel/albums/72157665244983063/with/26031909933/
David Carpenter
I tried posting last night but messed it up! I echo Gary's comments and congratulations to the organisers and who those who helped out on the day. Particular mention of Holly who was organiser in chief and of course Pat, Mike and their grandchildren. A good turn out of players and a few goals! Mr Rebel
Must say I was pleasantly surprised how many people were there Reasonably entertaining game with lots of goals shown by the 6-4 ft score. Some very good players (mainly and inevitabily the few current Maidenhead players in the Autism team) and some not so good but was a great cause and I'm sure a lot of money will have been raised

Sir Rebel1965
Was surprised to see how few from Slough turned up at yesterdays game considering how David was such a loyal supporter of the club and supposedly that we want to be seen as a community club. The football was not up to much, but that was not the point of the game or the occasion. A massive PR opportunity missed!
David Carpenter
Just read in the Maidenhead Advertiser that the crowd was about 800 and it is estimated that about £6000 will have been raised. Massive congratulations to the organiser Holly Clarke and of course great memories of Dave.
