No fixture for the newly-promoted Edgware? Karen, what's going on there?

Despite this, rumour has it from my old friend Diane behind the bar, that you left Gosling on Tuesday to fans/players/staff singing your name?!! So there must be no hard feelings between you and them!

Relegation battle in the Premier could be settled today for Levy if Harefield lose at Broxbourne. If we win against Sun Sports then we are safe anyway.

A very entertaining game between 2 very good teams. Hale should have converted more goals within the 1st half but due to misses or very good defending it wasn't to be. 3-0 at half time. Hillgate came out of the blocks at the restart with lots of endeavour & passion scoring 1 giving them some encouragement. The game was played without any bad but some mistimed challenges yet the ref thought the game was about him. I lost count on how many cards he produced ( in my oppinion without cause ) which finished up with a Hillgate player leaving the field early along with a coach/assistant manager having to leave the playing field. One player already on a card kicked the ball away yet no action ( probably thought his hand was sore with taking names ). Overall it was a very good game to watch, shame the ref spoilt it

Both games we've played Hillgate their indiscipline has cost them. They are a good side and play some nice football, but always get on the refs back and not great at the back.

Our game was a strange one. First half kicking down the slope, we had a lot of possession, but struggled to breakdown Totternhoe. Fair play to them, they set up well and made it difficult. I think if we had got a goal in the first 20 it would have been comfortable, we missed a penalty as well. 2nd half a bit more even as they had the conditions advantage. They caused us problems from set pieces and on the break. As it was goal won it, with one of the rare decent balls in the box, was flicked in. Very impressed with Loasby in the 2 games we have played them, decent player.

Completely agree. We did what we could do frustrate as we were down to bare bones again. Only having 10 recognised 1st team players to chose from and 2 from the reserves and our manager. As I'm sure is the same with most teams in our div, if we had our strongest 15 every week I honestly feel we would challenge top 3, however that's not happened once this season.

Old Bradwell are a good side, solid and direct at times, strong at the back and managed to soak up our 2nd half good spells.

Agree with the bit about Hilgate, great footballing side just discipline lets them down.

Good day for Harefield Utd, life in the old dog yet.

The old dog had a serious relapse last night, He could be put out of his misery at Welwyn this weekend.
