Congratulations to WGC 4-3 winners against Berko

Superb game, A credit to the SSM league and definitely the best game played at Harefield this season.

Great game, to go down to 10 men, instantly concede from the preceding free-kick and then score 3 goals and take a 2 goal lead into the last 25-20mins, is a massive credit to a team thats newly promoted. Top 4 finish and the best young manager in the league is saying a lot of how well the club is being run and the direct were taking.

Many teams looking at us now as potential promotion contenders for next season

Shock no im not.....and wait for it.....shock you havent a clue, if you attended the game you would realise going down to 10 men with what must have been 30mins left and then conceding a goal from the freekick while sacrificing a CB to go in goal (by the way that means we had no backup keeper on the bench), then fighting for every ball and scoring 3 to go 4-2 up with 10 men....is a cracking show of strength and determination..........but then im sure you cant understand that....muppet

Watched the Clinton v Hale Leys game last night. Not a great game. Hale Leys probably should have been a couple up in the first half, but finishing was poor. They scored just after half time after a comical scramble. Clinton offered very little other than a pacy forward and effective set pieces. Good finish for the equaliser. Hale Leys then missed a penalty in the closing minutes handing back the advantage to Kent Athletic.

I agree, probably the worst game Hale has played, although I will add the farmers field of a pitch didn't help their game. Hales 1st goal was like watching a pin ball machine. That equaliser was top drawer finish. Couldn't believe how the penalty didn't go in after hitting the inside of the post rebounding across the line.

I was stood behind Hale Leys goal for Clinton's goal, a superb strike. I was just leaving for the penalty so didn't see what happened exactly, just that it obviously didn't go in.

 

Would add the wind helped Clinton in the 2ND half with their set piece bombardment. They wouldn't have scored in open play.

As stated im not a Welwyn player and Top 4, a Cup after last season.....have some manners lads...on the up.

 

Id expect more from a forum member who supports WGC to be berating the players....another plastic fan by any chance Backroom1?!
