ashford follower
that was a lot better game to watch thought we worked hard , still a lot of wayward passing going on ,we created quite a few chances but not having a proper striker up front we struggled to make them count, we look so good when we play simple football and work for each other is bitz the only one who can take a free kick ? we need to mix them up a little, also think samad was unlucky to be sent off first yellow very harsh gonna miss him in the last 2 games . manurgrate
Just like Camberley, our closest rivals for promotion, we squeezed over the line after a pulsating second half. We were second best before the break and Windsor took the lead after 17 mins with a fine goal and although we struggled still managed to create two excellent chances which went begging. After half- time we seemed to be re-energised, Mark equalised on the hour and we attacked incessantly with the home team defending valiantly. Windsor did create one gilt edged chance, which brought a brilliant save from Tyler. Samad scored the winner in the dying minutes of normal time and then the referee managed to add on an incredible eight minutes of stoppage time. However we held on to win after a great test of character by our team. Well done lads. To be honest I thought Samad's sending for two yellow cards was about right in the context of how the laws of the game are interpreted these days.
