Burnham southern South West also another local team dicing with relegation they could go Hellenic, N G U could go Spartan. Still leaving a possible relegation for Farnborough and Walton to C / C

North Greenford look like being relegated too, they come out of the C / C I believe, three teams possibly relegated to our league won't leave many spots for promotion from Div 1

Doesn't work like that. The CCL1 clubs will still get promoted to Step 5 if eligible but they or other teams could be pushed sideways by the FALC.

So for example, current projections have AFC Hayes and North Greenford being in SSM league not CCL.

Current projections (presumably taken from the TK forum) are no more than the instigator's predictions but with no inside knowledge and are often completely wrong - did any of them predict that AFC Hayes, for example, would come to us this season?  Anyone can sit down with a map and make predictions but that is all it is.

It won't be until after the May meetings at the FA that we will know who's going where, and every season there are surprises.  Neither would I risk any money that Farnborough FC will be in the CCL next season.

It would be so unfair if we have 3 div 1 clubs eligible to promote that don't all make it. Why strive for it if it is taken away from you?

Nuff said

I tend to agree that it would be unfair and very disappointing for any club in Division One to be be denied promotion if, for example, two (or more) clubs are relegated into our Premier Division from Step 4 with only one going up.  However, the possibility has to be pointed out (it is better that clubs know in advance rather than coming as a major shock in the middle of May) and it could be argued that there should only be two promotion places anyway in a division of just 17 clubs.

However, should we have a rule to say that as many clubs will be relegated from the Premier Division as necessary so as to allow the top three in Division One to be guaranteed promotion?  Would clubs in the Premier Division vote in favour if we did propose such a rule change?  Most of our rules are dictated by the FA but I believe that we can still set our own regarding promotion/relegation and it is open to any Club Secretary to propose a rule change, so long as there is a seconder.

It is on the cards that all Step 3 and 4 divisions will go back to 22 clubs at some stage in the future.  That may also impact upon us and if in addition we were to be forced to reduce ourselves to 20 clubs, which I know would be the preferred option of some, we could find considerably more than 3 clubs being relegated at the end of  the season in which the change takes place.

How many get relegated in Farnborough's division Chris?

Projections are of course just guesswork and with the FA, it can be a futile exercise I admit but there are ways that three CCL1 clubs could be promoted even with several clubs dropping down into the CCLP.

And the rumour is that Step 3 leagues will relegate six next season to get back down to 22. This could cause changes further down the pyramid of course.

Ludicrous fixtures, how can a ground be unplayable for months,be expected to host 4 games in 4 days,is a heatwave forecast?

Another Step 4 club whose fans have some sort of attitude towards the CCL.  I am guessing they are going to finish below both South Park and Molesey both recent CCL teams !
