successful fa ground inspection for Hoddesdon

Recommended Posts

Don't think so they wont move, its a shame because we are ambitious. The club have already identified a few potential grounds. Hopefully we will only be at ware next season. It all depends how quickly we get things moving!

Applause to the leadership for showing a bit of ambition.

I just always fear that the soul will be sucked out of a club when they're junior ground-sharers in a foreign locale.

The committed fans will surely follow. But it's a nigh on impossible to grow the fan base, when you're not playing not locally to your locals.

Ware themselves struggle for attendance up at Wodson.

If they end up playing their for two or three seasons, and don't get that promotion, it could be rather disastrous. Only time will tell.

But having a chairman willing to work for it is certainly a big plus.

Stay at Lowfield and not be able to go up should we win the league next season, or go to Ware and be able to go up should we win the league next season, all the while working to come home or build a new ground.

I don't want to watch my team at Ware but I know what I prefer. An ambitious club doesn't stand still and accept its barriers and boundaries.

The reserves will continue to play at Lowfield, and the first team cup games will also take place there. I would imagine the club will also look to bring in a Saturday team to share the pitch at Lowfield, to offset the cost of playing at aware across the next 2-3 seasons.

Where are Woodford Town going to play next season ??

Woodford Town to play at Lowfield in 2016/17
