Jonno....for some reason i cant quote your post or directly reply........

Last nights final...

Good game, slow burner feeling each other out....WGC matched you, more chances but Hoddy more clear cut chances....only negative point was the "paper thin" No.4 and Summers who fell to the ground like a poisoned ballerina twice...highly embarrassing....but to be fair the match could have gone either way, first half i though wgc were unlucky not to get something, but second half i think Hoddy edged it.....what do they say, you have to take your chances of which Hoddy did....

...i thought Drapes looked his age a tad up against Kersey in spells, but to be fair to him, he is doing well, i would be proud to be playing at that level at all, especially in my late 30's

Good luck for the rest of the season :-) Top 3 is going to be very very interesting, as is the league game in a few weeks time...i have a feeling we may reverse that result....(fingers crossed)

Thought Welwyn wasted that first 15-20 minutes of the game when they had the wind behind them.

Also got involved & picked up some silly bookings by kicking the "paper thin" number 4

Thats true there were some silly bookings for firely tackles, but this is a final after all....cant all walk around the pitch like ballerina's....this is football...too many people in power want to take away the tackling these days....for what....more pansies falling over in the box lol B)

Totally agree, football is about tackles but there is a time & place.
