Reading Rebel
After today's games I make it that Histon are relegated. Despite Bedworth winning today (coming back from 3-0 down) they will need to win their last 4 games and hope Cambridge don't pick up a point or they are relegated. Paulton need to win at least 5 out of 6 to stand any chance. Bideford need to win all 6 of their remaining games to stand any chance. So pretty much certain that all 4 are relegated and will have to rely on reprieves to stay up.
Reading Rebel
IMO shame about Histon but if we stay in the Southern Premier next season I won't miss Bedworth, Paulton or Bideford (if only for the long journey).
Bernie Gogan
..........to be replaced by Weston Super Mare, Taunton, Corby maybe?!
staines_rebel_Jr
..........to be replaced by Weston Super Mare, Taunton, Corby maybe?! Could add cinderford to give Merthyr a relatively local derby.
Reading Rebel
With Paulton and Bedworth it's more like teams I just don't like playing more than the journey.
Sir Rebel1965
Or we go into the Ryman?

Curtis
Would it be a problem going in to the Ryman? I would have thought it would be less travelling (in mileage terms) for most fans, and I don't think the Ryman is any tougher than the Southern Premier. Mr Rebel
other than our managers perhaps not being so familiar with the league (we have spent 2 years in the Southern Premier and the managers often admit they are still learning about this league) and the slim chance it may influence potential new players or current players wanting to stay, I cannot see much issue. we are right on the Ryman/Southern league divide anyway and much of the travelling would be a lot more local to those living in or near the Slough area perhaps a debate for a separate thread/topic before this one gets totally off topic
RebelDelaney
Just to show how tough this league has been I believe from the bottom four teams we only got 10 points from a possible 24.

Tom
I'd welcome a move to the Ryman as a fan, I miss the travel to a lot of the local sides we faced whilst in the midlands league - especially midweek.

staines_rebel_Jr
Against the top 9 teams we have picked up 9 points. Against the 6 teams above us (10-15) we have picked up 25 points. Against the 8 teams below us we have picked up 20 points. We still have one team in each "group" still left to play.
Irishadrian
Im not sure how the results against the bottom four teams show the league has been tough this year They are the bottom four after their games against all the other teams so far Our results against them just show how often we have underperformed against the poorest teams imo

staines_rebel_Jr
RD it was just to keep it in three groups roughly the same size to show how we have done against each.
