urchinman1961
Massive improvement on the last.two fixtures the visitors came for a draw dug in for a draw and got one they didnt create one chance to be honest chances were limited apart from a George rasping free kick which the keeper saved and Junior unlucky with a header the result didnt help us but we just need to dig in for the remaininder of the season and who knows
cup of tea
Somehow we are still in the playoffs, first half was dull, hx having slightly the better of it with one or two contentious moments, second half with the wind in our favour we were much better but just couldn't score. Well drilled Thurrock team especially in defence and some good passing in patches.

For me the only decent thing about this afternoon was a total lack of bad language from supporters and players so well done to everyone concerned. I would happily take my football mad grandson to Bridge Avenue if the football wasn't so absolutely dreadful. If he watched a couple of games like today's it would probably put him off for life. blackballed
Alan you should have watched our last two games, in saying that I thought we had the better of the first half, and were at the wrong end of this result. You had a great result in the week against Harlow, but your season is nothing to right home against, so I think you should just concentrate on your own team or come over to the dark side and become an Urchin ..... Over to you ....

Over to you .... I havnt been to a Romford game since my son died ten weeks ago, and dont intend to again in the foreseeable future. As I intend taking my grandson to games it will probably be D&R, Orient or Spurs.
blackballed
Alan I'm sorry for your loss, you will always be welcome at the Bridge but I understand your need to watch football at a higher level, but non league should always be your first choice.
