We'd opened the debate to general men's football for developing players Chris, not just CCL who are all obviously a level above.

In terms of Intermediate and junior football there is always the possibility of that.  He has witnessed a 19 man brawl this season (no he didn't join in).

 

He plays for a team where he knows a few of the adults, because of cricket, and actually has won a few of them over when doubts were cast when he joined this season.  He is a totally different character playing in youth matches now and you can see he has had experience of Mens football.  He has been looked after at the club he has played for which is an important part.

just out of interest a lot of the youngsters I know from coaching are now playing in 5 a side leagues and am well aware of some nasty incidents at them !

Won 4-2 and he really enjoyed it including saving a penalty !!

 

Our 4 goals were scored by a 17 and a 16 year old.

Six of our 13 players yesterday were 18 and they all played very well. 5 started and one came on as sub.

Went home a happy and proud man last night. Woke up equally as happy.

Farnham had a very good 17 year old playing too.
