Wrong score showing on Full Time. Hale leys 8-0 Clean Slate. A good game to watch, played with passion but fair. The referee was way too handy with cards for the most ridiculous reasons. Clean Slate do have some very fast and talented players, just wasn't their day.

Bloody loving that conclusive 3-1 home win for Hertford Town over league leaders Hoddy today in front of 337 at The Park prior to our Bank Holiday Beer Fest weekender!

Problem is that they've suddenly gone all quiet and magnanimous in defeat for a change and spoiling all my fun!!!

An absolute worldy of a volley from 30yrds by skipper, Sam Ruff to seal it & fully worthy of a beautiful ground given an full FA grading approval this week!

Well done on the ground grading BigDog.

Fortunately we was not on the end of a derby day upset. "Hobbsy's Tibbles'made army"

Didn't make the game due to work commitments but heard it was the right result. Well done Col and to all at Hertford. Hope the beer festival goes well and the rain stays off.

If it helps Col, I hate you right now. There, I said it!!!

Whitely Bay - He'll probably want to bang on about the ref, linos, pitch-invading ducks, Donald Trump, etc not clamping down on Halsey aggressively shaking hands & "angrily" commiserating with Gavin & his staff post-match - fully deserving of a life-time ban from football and demanding Halsey be sent to that weird spinning thing from Superman 2 with General Zod . . . zzzzzzzz

Thanks RB, well done on your derby-day result!

Jonno hates me again. The universal equilibrium is back in balance. Everything is good again.

Shame you didn't make it fella, was looking forward to a good debate over a beer & thanks for the kind words for our 1st beer festival too.

See you next season  :P

Great game and a great atmosphere. The home crowd were as entertaining and noisy as ever and the game got off to a pretty quick start.

Hertford's winger being 1-on-1 with the keeper very early on, but aiming for the non-existent gap between his legs. And not long after Hoddy took the lead, when a cross from the right missed everyone bar Ricky Light arriving beyond the back post to bury it with a rather composed finish.

Hoddy then seemed content to sit back and hold on to the 1-0. Felt a bit suicidal with 80 minutes to go against the league's top scorers.

And from that moment, Hertford just wanted it more. Was largely 1 way with Hoddy still looking dangerous on the break.

Fantastic strike for Hertford's third. Though the keeper will know he could have done better with it being straight down the middle.

A few more heavy challenges and little niggles than usual, but generally played in a pretty good spirit.

A fair bit of surrounding the ref on Hoddy's part. Be he dealt with it well, rather than getting card crazy as many do at this level. Seemed to understand that matches like this tend to have a bit more fire and passion.

And also two rather mild mannered benches, which if all the hype is to be believed, was rather unexpected.

Anyway, great game for the home fans and neutrals. And I'm sure even the away fans would appreciate that they witnessed a very good derby game, though understandably will be disappointed with the result.

Wish all games I went to could be like this.

Somehow feel that the other derby between St Mags and Hoddy on Tuesday won't really match it.
