Realistically the only team we could catch who's currently in the play-off spots are our opponents here.

Massive game, draw won't be a disaster but a win would be great.

COME ON TOWN - TALLY HO.

Tuesday night was the shot in the arm that we needed against a decent Kingstonian side. The goals are back and we are going to need them to beat Dulwich today. After playing Dulwich off the park and losing 2-0 in January, we really need to take three points off this lot if we are to make the playoffs. Looking forward to a decent crowd and a great game.

Come on you Towners !!!!

A very good result against Kingstonian earlier in the week, but this is definitely 'a must win game' for both teams this afternoon. To make a serious challenge for the playoffs, we need to secure three points from this match, and win the majority of our remaining fixtures this season. It can be done, and anything is possible, but it certainly won't be easy.

Let's hope for a good all-round performance and result this afternoon. Dulwich have gone off the boil a bit recently, and slipped down the table, so we are playing them at a good time and need to make home advantage tell.

Fingers crossed. Let's do the business guys!

Good luck everyone. COYT

We always play the wrong formation against Dulwich. We started 3-5-2 when we know as fans, that they always play two fast wingers.. They broke twice on the counter attack using the wingers and scored twice. It would have been difficult to drop anybody from Tuesday night as we had played so well but surely you have to pick the team and formation which is best suited to beat the the team that you play on the day. We should have set up 4-4-2 in my mind but if you do go with three at the back, then surely Harold Joseph starts before Da Cruz ? I really liked the two young midfielders that played today but all our problems are at the back. Kirbs played well. Stan played well, you know the rest. Another two points dropped !

I thought it was only me but Seaside T summoned it up perfectly. How in heaven

does da Cruz get in before Joseph? Rarely do you see a coach come around the pitch

to give a player a lesson on how to play in his position. The fact that he was out of his depth against the winger should have been spotted by the manager, and

altered at half time. With whom, the lack of choice is of his own making. Allowing

for injuries and absentees it seems that Lockie and Stevens do not rate very

highly in BQ's pecking order in defenders. At least they can tackle and make a

pass.

I am glad, however, we at least drew and thank God for Kirby, who stood out head

and shoulders above the other two. His ability to head and pass the ball in that

tricky wind must have been a revelation to them, since there main repertoire is

basically to belt the leather off the ball.

I agree with OT that we never seem to learn. But the style of play is taught off the

field, but if you insist to use players that continually punt the ball forward willy

nilly, with whom does the fault lay.

Hey-ho, it's off to Brentwood and hopefully three points.

The difference was Dulwich had two chances and scored from both... Town had numerous and a combination of hard luck and good saves from Preston Edwards saw we only scored 2... That may be the difference between Hamlet getting into the play offs and Town falling just short..but you never know we still in with a shout..just!

Nyren Clunis (right winger) always plays well against us and created both goals. Sure he should be playing at a higher level. Dipo Akinyemi scorer of their second goal is on loan from League Two Stevenage...

On a real plus note I thought Billy Crook was immense in midfield especially in the second half and Alfred Mugabo as well... Two really good signings I think.

I wonder when the last time at Step 3 of the non-league ladder that two England C International goal keepers played .. both Nathan Mcdonald and Preston Edwards. Both are top keepers - I wouldn't want to argue with Edwards... he gave his back four both barrels several times.

I'd say second half was one of the best 45 mins of football since.................Tuesday night's first half v Kingstonian!!!!
