Barleylands & Mr Philpot

BOROMAN

Stadia management looked into the possibility of developing Barleylands but they came to the conclusion that their were parking and access issues that would have seen the idea fail at the planning stage. As only one road leads into barleylands I can their would be an access problem but with any football related development it will cause problems and their will be traffic after games at GP with Saturday shopping traffic as well. Parking problems could simply be overcome by having another couple of fields for parking. I belive that the real reason that Barleylands wasnt persured was that it was a far poorer than site than GP for the development of a hotel, swimming pool and conferencing factiles unfortunately like most things in our society is sadly dominated by moaning and greed.
