Carthorse
Horley Town 3 AFC Hayes 1 What a strange old game we all watch.Hayes took the lead early doors and were they much better sde in the first half if they had gone in at half time five nil up I would not have complained. Goal line clearances cross bar great saves mad defending. The second half was a little bit better but again AFC Hayes had the better chances to score Town then grabbed a goal through Ashley after he rounded the keeper. Then a matter of madness by AFC when there midfielder was sent off for a off the ball incedent on Scot Robson. Next Ashley added a second and we rounded it of when Scot Robson scored for Town to somehow win three one!!!!! The opposite to when we played there earlier in the season we were the better side and lost.

Daniel Bishop
A great performance and result against a very good CB Hounslow team yesterday, lets hope we can now build on this ready for our Tuesday night game against Shearwater. We are moving in the right direction just need a bit of consistency with the selection. Grumpy, The pitch is what it is and its great that we can get our games on each week, don't be hard on yourself
Millers
HW 2 Knappers 1 Another really tight affair at Hartley with the Knappers surely disappointed not to take a point from it. I have been nothing but impressed with their development this year and I believe if they stay together they will be at least a top 5 side last year. Having a number of players of good calibre that are prepared to work hard gives you every chance and they have come on leaps and bounds from last year. We know we were very fortunate to take 3 points from their place earlier in the season so going into the game we were very aware of the task in hand - especially given that they had beaten some good sides recently. In a very close game and one of limited chances Knappers took the lead from a good header that looped over our keeper. Knaphill took control of the game for a 15 min period after 2nd half and a goal then would have left us with a lot to do. We showed some resilience, made a few changes and got back on the front foot during which our new signing making his debut notched both our goals. It was that bravery in that period of 25 mins that won the game in an otherwise even game. Knaphill came back into it and threw bodies forward but we stayed firm to gain 3 very valuable points. A very pleasing performance against a good team especially after the debacle that was Farnham the week before. Also credit to Keith and the boys who showed great sportsmanship in defeat and would have certainly been feeling hard done by. It was extremely pleasing to be back to winning ways but we are taking every game as it comes and every team on their merits. Long way to go yet.
