National League approved 3G pitches

I don't recall seeing discussion on here about the Conference National approving 3G pitches last month.... could be relevant at some point with the new ground.

Apparently the quality and certification rules are very specific as are the weekly hours of usage and the maintenance schedule.

I would hope the 'quality and certification' and 'maintenance schedule' of the 3G being layed at our new ground won't be a problem.

Not sure what the weekly hours of usage has got to do with anything. Surely 3G pitches can be played on 24/7 without any problems with the surface?

Let's hope the Council have done, because up until last months decision it wouldn't have been able to be used above Conference South. Now it would only need to be replaced with turf if we were to make it to League 2... which even the most optimist of us would not expect.
