3spirit
Going by the weather forecast, sounds like it will be touch and go whether the match is on, as it looks like more rain for the morning and for most of the afternoon. If it is on, my line up would be [if all available] Scott Fraser Hollis Hicks Dhillon W.Harris Hope Rumbold Putman Smith S.Harris Subs: Stonehouse, Webb, J.Parsons, Gokman, Barney

A Rebel and a Saint
Really wish they could have mentioned the pitch inspection earlier, I'm now down the cost of a train ticket from London to Hungerford.
RebelDelaney
ARAAS I rang before 12 phone on hold and when i spoke to somebody around 2pm he said he was not involved with the club anymore but said there would be an inspection.
HorshamRebel
I must admit, the first I knew was when you posted at 2:30pm that one was going to happen. Then again, they would have wanted to wait until the Morning rain water had subsided, and given the normal travelling distance, 3:30 to 4pm was probably the right time, as the day before is the right time for any Truro match. It's the same when we do it, you are dammed if you don't, and dammed if you do

Got the train to meet my dad at Aldermaston having only bought a single. got on the train at 3:50 match called off at 4:05. due to only having a single had to go all the way to Aldermaston to be picked up and brought home. 3 hours wasted. not blaming Hungerford as it is not their fault and 4:05 is early and fair, just frustrating. staines_rebel_Jr
The game will probably be played either the week starting 14th march (Monday) or any mid week in April. Also the Beaconsfield pitch will be used 11 more times this season (for senior football) and after this weekend hopefully it will be able to hold up as it took quite a battering. Fortunately it won't be used mid week this week as Beaconsfields next home match is on the weekend.

Is being used tonight for a youth team game.... have to say the pitch took a battering on Saturday, and as the grounds dry out think we will have a very bobbly surface last month of the season, don't recall the pitch cutting up as bad is it did on Saturday at any time in the last 3 years, however we have had bundles of rain this winter. staines_rebel_Jr
we might be better off playing on the field next to the ground.
RebelDelaney
I was surprised that neither team on sat got in a postion to have a shot from 20 to 30 yards out as both keepers would of struggled getting across the face of goal as being so muddy. staines_rebel_Jr
RD Stonehouse did have a shot from distance but it went quite wide. It really wasn't his day!
