A fleeting return for me to post this news of the ex-CCL (and now ex-everything) club in case no one has seen.

The owners of the ground a Union had a contract for security at the Reading festival which they have now lost.

They made enough money from hiring out the ground and using it as a base for employees while the festival was on to make it a going concern, from camping on the pitch to using the clubhouse as a bar and canteen.

Now they have lost the contract they have folded Reading Town who they sort of indirectly ran.

The players and club committee wanted to play on till the end of the season but the Union folded the club.

Woodley Town it appears can play at the ground until the end of the season.

The ground appears to have been sold to IBIS / The Prudential who's social club and pitches are next door. Highmoor IBIS will move to the ground from the start of next season.

The ground was being used as stated above for the Reading Festival years before this union got involved.
