Can anyone tell me if there is a list of Slough Town`s top Goalscorers of all time not just for this season and also list of apperances. I would be interested in who has the best goals per game ratio for Slough for players such as Mark West (hero!) , Leo Sayer, Gary Abbott, Lloyd Owusu, Tony Boot, Ian Hodge etc

And the second point is, I know information is terrible for coming out of the club but it would be nice to know how long players such as Barra`s Deaner, Murphy and the others are likely to be out injured for.

With Boot,Miller,Hodge and Seedal playing so well i doubt Deaner would even get in the squad even if he was fit.

Under normal circumstance that's true but at the point he got injured early in the season Andy was our best player. With Hodgey in the form he's in now though I wouldn't put anyone ahead of him, including Alan Shearer <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Information on starting appearances only which makes it a bit unfair is as follows:

Pos - Name - Ratio

1. Brian Hammatt - 0.71 goals per start

2. Ian Hodges - 0.65

3. Mark West - 0.61

4. Tony Boot - 0.60

5. Sammy Winston - 0.53

=6. Dwight Marshall - 0.5

=6 Lloyd Owusu - 0.5

8. Ansil Bushay - 0.48

9. Neville Roach - 0.45

10. Michael Bartley - 0.44

Minimum of ten games started to be included, otherwise Simon Quail would be joint fourth with Boot.

Thanks for that information Gary. There are some names from the past there! Darren Anderson, Mark Quamina! Danny Nwaokolo! Steve Whitby whatever happened to him? Did he play again after injury? Would be quite fun to pick your best slough 11 from those players listed there! Just a few questions, when was that list from? Cos I thought Barry Rake played more than the 30 odd games he is down there for. And Who is our Leading scorer of all time, on there it is westy with 84 but surely there are others from the 70`s and 80`s who have scored more. Do you have those stats handy? I love these sort of stats keeps me amused for hours!!

Alan Smith is the man. I've got the information from current day to 90/91 season and when Alan gets the chance, we're going to compile all the information so it is available electronically (Easier to compile historical information that way for him hopefully!)
