Who is or was best keeper in the SSML.

A few best or worst threads on the forum at the moment.

How about the best Goalkeeper past or present.  In the 5 or 6 games i saw him play the one who impressed me the most was Charlie Fanner for Hanwell Town ,   class.

That comment will make Savagebee your best mate. Any excuse to promote Hanwell again.

Ha ha OD's hope you guys get promoted this season but i would prefer London Colney or Hertford Town to get promoted  :)

Yes Charlie Fanner was a very decent keeper who is now travaling around the world. I think he is from the Holmer Green area.

I always rated the ex Biggleswade United keeper Scott Waters. The ex Southall FC keeper Arvydas Kancinkevicius who played a few games for us this season was a top keeper for us and a really nice guy and a real character who should/could play at a lot higher level.

Ex Premier League referee Mark Halsey certainly rates amongst the top keepers seen in the South Midlands League

Proper "bell" though isnt he....puff a bit of smoke up his A hole and it goes to his head...im assuming he is computer illiterate though so thats ok...

I think Jackson was decent for Welwyn personally, also Harefield had a decent keeper when we played them called Kyle Pater...he was just let down by the poor defence he had bumbling around in front of him.

Decent Keeper Jackson, see his performance against Stevenage & he was very good.

Going back a few years but got to say our old keeper Russell Ling was awesome.  Basically won us the league!

Today at Hoddesdon we saw two very good goalkeepers Lee Robinson for Hoddesdon and Liam Jahn for Leverstock Green. Both made some great saves today.
