Why should I support Camberley?

 

Anyway, 'twas only a bit of pantomime mischief.

 

Great effort, and a shame about the end result.

Ash Utd 1 Banstead Athletic 5

 

Played on a not so good surface after the heavy drizzle for several hours but still very playable, Banstead came out worthy winners.

 

Banstead adapted to the conditions alot better & created several good chances but didn't take them. Then against the run of play Ash took the lead, however within 10 minutes found themselves 3-1 to some good finishes but poor defending which gave ash an uphill battle for the second half.

 

Started ok but didn't finish off the good work & Banstead took full advantage by scoring 2 more goal & deserving won the game

 

Banstead look a good unit & could easily if the team stay fit be in with a chance of a promotion spot

 

Ash need to start winning at home as I feel my efforts are being wasted on them

Grumpy totally agree with your assessment, our home form is just not good enough this season.

 

A bad day at the office with Banstead running out worthy winners, we roll our sleeves up and we go again in two weeks.

 

Well done to Camberley for putting in a valiant effort, sounded like a very entertaining game.

Gutted for Camberley losing right at the end! What a great experience though for the team & supporters.

 

Was surprised it went to extra time, don't both teams have to agree on that beforehand? Would have thought Cambo preferred to take it to a replay at 90, gives the home team an advantage getting the extra half hour at their place.

Extra time is mandatory in the Vase, it's only penalties in the 1st game that need to be agreed by both sides.

Good win for Town today against a team only one place below us in the League. Glad to get back to football feed up with Saturdays with no football.

Town took the lead in the 45th minute through Ashley Nadasan. Town came out stronger in the second half and Conor Power scored followed by another goal from Ashley. Defender Jack Poplet popped up with goal number four

Thanks, thought it was optional. Seems an unfair advantage to the home team though, particularly in situations like today.
