FF News
Guiseley return to Nethermoor for the first time in more than two months on Tuesday as they welcome Dover Athletic for the replay of our third round FA Trophy tie. Following a 2-2 draw at The Crabble last weekend, Tuesday’s replay was postponed, with Mark Bower’s men having the chance to reach the quarter-finals this week. A positive performance against Dover and Saturday’s win at Woking mean confidence is high in the Guiseley camp and Bower is keen to make the most of the return to Nethermoor. Of this week’s opponents, he said: “Having played them twice, we know they’re a very good side and it’s going to be very tough. “But all four sides – ourselves, Dover, [potential quarter-final opponents] Nantwich and Stourbridge – will look at it and think ‘we’ve got a really good chance of getting to the semi-finals’. “But we’ve got a big job to do on Tuesday first and the lads will take a lot of heart from the last couple of performances and we can go into it with some confidence. “We were close to finishing it down there last week so let’s take that extra step this week and finish the job on Tuesday.” Source: www.gusieleyafc.co.uk Source
