Dagger03
Tambeson Eyong has signed for Hornchurch and is eligible to play at Tilbury tomorrow. This will be his second spell at the Bridge. He first played for Hornchurch in 2009-10, and made his debut in March 2010 at Canvey. He left at the end of the 2013-14 season, his last match being at Lowestoft in the Play-Off final. Tambeson made 179 appearances for Hornchurch, scoring seven goals. Since then, he has played for Dover Athletic, Margate, and more recently Canvey Island. This season he has played 29 times for Canvey, and has scored four goals.

Seaney The Sheep
There has been a lot of press in the southend paper about tams last game for canvey lets hope its not true. http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/14270746.Canvey_Island_give_Eyong_the_boot_after_furious_bust_up_with_team_mate/
theessexboy
Sorry, but why on earth would Canvey sack him, and the Evening Echo report it if it wasn't true.? Good player though, if you can control him.
Dagger03
Just to put the record straight - Tam has only had four yellow cards this season, and two reds (v Kingstonian in September (second yellow) and against the Met Police in the trophy (straight red). I cannot be certain, but one of the reds may have been rescinded. Considering the position he plays (midfield) this is not a bad record at all, and there are a lot of players with far worse records. cup of tea
Pleased to see Tam back - he will bring pace, power and commitment to Hornchurch. I'm not bothered that we've got him back after the circumstances he left, It's not like we've re-signed Lewis Smith for example !!! Welcome back Tam
cup of tea
The Romford Recorder has reported that Billy Coyne has moved on, shame if it's true and good luck to Billy for the future if it is.
theessexboy
Think you need to read the Echo article again chaps. He wasnt sacked because of yellow/red cards. And I believe the article plays down what actually happend after the Brenteood game.

Yes, Billy has joined Aveley. He had two spells at Hornchurch and made 244 appearances scoring six goals. This season he made 28+5 appearances and scored one goal. 1961 COYS
As far as I am aware Tam has never caused any problems when he was with us previously , big shame about Billy Coyne he was a 100% player for us.
andydick
Do we know who wrote this article ? Given that half the article discusses historical Hornchurch teams + obvious excitement re the associated stats I'd wager Dagger.
