BOROMAN

I feel i must apologise for the unwarrented letter by a certain Alan Fenn in Friday's recorder. What can I say, why he chose to write such sour grapes stuff only he knows.

Please be reassured that Romford Football Club wishes to continue to enjoy a positive friendly rivalry with the Urchin boys and girls.I also hope we can do our charity thing again at the end of the season.

However it has to be said, that having been involved with the 70's Romford and the current club since it's inception, I have never heard of Alan Fenn.

cheers Boroman

I too, took it with a pinch of salt, living where he does he shouls of course support Upminster Park Rovers!

But these people are about and if only he had the nouse to come and talk to the club direct he would have received a warm welcome but he didn't.

The other letter was excellent though.

I've just read the letter the cretin sent into the Recorder. To be honest, I'm really quite surprised the Recorder actually even published it, as it is total nonsence and complete sour grapes. He had a good old laugh at Hornchurch's exit from the FA Cup, then went on the say that West Ham wouldn't achieve anything this season and that the Daggers would get relegated, you get the picture don't you, the guys a complete pr1ck. Finished with the words, UP THE BORO!! What a saddo, I think he honestly believes our park neighbours are bigger than us mighty Urchins! Dream on fellas!

the legendary Alan Fenn is obviously a real fan. i mean i know rivalry between sides is part and parcel of football these days but is there really the need to go to these lengths. we all like to see our "RIVALS" lose but not to the extent of closure. having good football sides in the area is nothing but good for the local area. with an increased fan base comes increased revenue and a need for new jobs therefore helping the LOCAL economy. not everyone may agree this but all the local clubs can act as feeder clubs for the smaller sides for example Danny shipp and Lee goodwin ex west ham. no one needs negativity like these going around especially in the local ragssave it for the playground!
