v Bedworth

Bedworths recent results are a little strange. some close loses against Hitchin and Cirencester, draws against Kettering and Paulton, a win against Weymouth and a 8-1 hammering loss against Redditch.

There away record -

W-0

D-4

L-11

the worst away record in the league, just 4 points from 15 matches

compared to our home record -

W-9

D-2

L-4

the sixth best in the league, 29 points from 15 matches

We lost in the first match earlier in the season 2-1. But our squad has changed a fair bit since then. Back then we still had Ryan Parsons, Gary MacDonald, Jamie McClurg, Adam Martin and Ben Edwards and Neil Baker on the bench. With Dan Hicks scoring on his second debut.

My starting 11 would be;

Gk- Mark Scott

RB- Sean Fraser

CB- Guy Hollis

CB- Dan Hicks

LB- Paul Stonehouse

RM- Lewis Putman

CM- Leigh Rumbold

CM- Nathan Webb

LM- Jhai Dhillon

ST- Charlie Mpi

ST- Lee Barney

Having 3 left sided players will probably mean that players will have to juggled about if all 3 players are selected.

In your team selection Warren Harris will miss out. IMO we are a better team with Warren Harris playing.

In theory a nice selection headache but not one I'd personally like to make.

Bedworth have conceded 80 goals easily the worst record in our league and more importantly perhaps 47 of these away from home They are also by a large margin the most penalised team in our league according to the FA Fairplay table  ( easily rattled) I think we should be expecting to do well tomorrow

I just thought with Warren straining his groin last week he may not be 100% fit and with the way Lewis is playing it's hard to leave him out

Agree, but with Putts being left footed and our best crosser of the ball I'm not sure switching him to the right wing would be the best move.

If Warren Harris was 100% fit what team would you select?

Warren Right wing and Lewis Left Wing with Paul Stonehouse coming in for Jhai Dhillon. Jhai is a very good player but I think Paul is better.

You might be right but Stoney is only with us for this month.

He's not here to sit on the bench !  Although we know he's coming back from injury.

Are you assuming Warren is not fit?

'Gary' Gokman is a young lad with a good future but at this stage in his career there is zero chance he would get picked ahead of a fit Warren Harris.

We're playing Bedworth at home, for Christ sake, a team second from bottom  !

Surely young squad players deserve a chance in matches against lower teams in the division.

I'm NOT assuming Wazza's not fit.

I would just like to see 'Gary' Gokman  given more than the paltry five minutes he normally gets, when coming on for his umpteenth, fleeting sub appearance.

I would have thought it would be an ideal game for him to start, thus resting Wazza until sometime in the second half for his introduction, if needed.

Young players don't learn anything stuck on a bench, week in week out !
