amerste
Hale Leys didn't get off to the start they wanted, 1-0 down in the first 3 minutes. Hale were down to a bare bone squad with some key players unavailable. 3-0 down before they got into the game which was played in gale force winds. 3-3 at full time which shows character within the squad. Winning on penalties isn't always a nice way to settle the game imo. Thought the officials did well. A good tense thriller.

BigDogCol
So proud of the Hertford Town lads tonight. Great atmosphere, 123 through the gate, 4 good goals, clean sheet and no bookings on a decent surface despite the season. Great sportsmanship with the visiting Stotfold attendees too. This is what I want to see more of and fair play to both the management and playing staff who seemed to have turned a corner with their discipline & focus recently. C'mon You Blues! ampthillboy9
Game of two halves yesterday between us and Kents. They dominated the first half and we were lucky to only be 1 down at half time. All credit to our boys though hey dug in and dominated the second half. Kents probably should have had a penalty in the second half however after the dodgy one they got in the first it evened itself out. On another note both teams played the game in a great spirt and it was great to see two teams get on with their jobs. Thought the officials handled the game well and ensured the game ran smoothly. Good luck to Kents for he rest of the season think we may see a few of their players playing in the sml1 or pre next season.

We can only hope the "manager" has changed his attitude, how are the Ultras these days as well? Showing a bit more respect? Hertford have a great little setup for sure and do play one of the best brands of football in this league at times. Very competitive end to the season coming up. I have to say his behaviour is greatly improved and this has also translated onto the pitch too. The Ultras numbers have dwindled of late but The Stable End is still as noisy as ever and we're still bringing in the crowds. All on the up right now . . . HallSeaIsAPenIs
Thats good to hear, lets hope its not just because "things are on the up". Although when it was bad a few games, Hertford were taken to pieces on the pitch, which cant help matters. The Stable End is one, if not, the best atmosphere ive seen produced at this level. Its a credit to the club, banter/singing in the right manner. I guess you can read into the dwindling numbers, whichever way you want, perhaps being "told" off and their age....they cant take it, like a lot of kids these days or perhaps they have grown up and may now be in The Stable End, singing proper songs instead of obscenities. Who knows, either way Hertford are a decent club with potential for sure.
