Mickey comes to town

Pub Leaguers Ford United threw all their toys out of the pram today in typical MM style. On the end of a 4-0 thrashing by a resurgent Stortford, Ford initiated an 18-man brawl at the end of the game following some ugly and vicious tackles. Two Ford players were sent off along with Roy Essandoh. The Ford keeper who ran half the length of the pitch to throw a punch escaped with a yellow. The final whistle was blown, the ref and his linesmen scarpered sharply, leaving Blues fans and Ford players and officials in a scary face-off at the tunnel. Chariman John Goodwin was left on the floor when a Ford player slammed the tunnel gate into his face. Craig Edwards clearly lost the plot, trying to get at the baying fans until the whole team were ordered off the pitch by Chairman Jimmy Chapman. Ford's players have always enjoyed taking the piss out of Stortford after beating us, but the Pub Leaguers couldn't take being on the end of a defeat themselves. These Mickey Mouse clubs, with yard dogs for players, [***!!***] grounds and no support should form their own Pub League.

 

Makes ETFC look like angels, or is it angles??!!
