Reading Rebel
It is a horrible midweek trip but Bideford have had a lot of games postponed recently so will have a backlog which might tire them out - trying to look at the positive side! I think Bideford also have injury problems.
Sir Rebel1965
Rebel1965, Have you travelled on the coaches we use. they do nothing of the sort, and no mention of the brakes at over 30 MPH. The brakes on the bus go squeak squeak squeak, squeak squeak squeak, squeak squeak squeak The wheels on the bus don't go round, don't go round, don't go round, The wheels on the bus stay in the garage, all day long. RebelDelaney
Rebel 1965 we are still lucky to have a coach running at all to take supporters to away games as less use it it becomes more expensive to hire so more encouragement to use it is needed not micky taking or there will be no coach for supporters to get to away games in future so less away support which would not be good for the club. Sir Rebel1965
Rebel Delaney it was not a "micky taking", it was in frustration of yet another game being called off! If you read my other post on the winter break thread about having the game now being played on a Tuesday night you will notice I state "Tuesday night games including a 4 hour each way trip to Bideford - who benefits from this?" - Bideford wont benefit as the gate will be smaller and the Slough fans wont benefit as it is less likely people will use the coach for a trip which will get back well after midnight!
