Fork King the pitch and still raining!

Got you reading.

Thanks to the merry band of men who started forking the pitch at 9.00am this morning to try and make sure the game would be on. However, the elements were against us(Roy, Dave, Peter, Andy and Dave)and we failed in our quest.

It really would not have helped had we had scores of helpers, because the water was not going anywhere.

Local referee turned up at 11.00am and deliberated long and hard before confirming with the match referee that the games was off. We must feel some sympathy for Torrington who came up yetserday but we look forward to seeing them again next week(normally the worst Saturday of the year for football)

Now's your chance to go out and buy your Christmas presents before next Saturday so that you can attend the game. Tell your friends to come along as well.

Looking forward to a bumper Christmas gate.

There should be a working party on Sunday morning from 10.00am for those of you who can read the NLP before then.

We better win then! No pressure lads but....!

The rules regarding expenses are alergacy of history and their returning will cost money. Every town Supporter we can get the next match will ease the burden, but it is Christmas and I appreciate that a supporters have to do as they're told before they can come out to play!

If gets too expensive then the FA underwrite some of it. Again the rules are complex and thats for our secretary to to sort! Unlucky man!

why do football supporters arrange things for saturdays?of the seven days in the week this is the ONE that is more likely than anyother to have a match arranged for it,after all we are non-league supporters not premier league.
