Okay Andy, H&R called for a pitch inspection around 4.00pm and a local referee made the decision the match to go-ahead. It was subsequently called off, presumably by the match referee, due to a frozen pitch. The weather forecast predicted freezing conditions, and most other scheduled matches were postponed for the same reason. H&R made the wrong decision in leaving the pitch inspection so late.

It was the same ref who did the early inspection and then changed his mind later. The H&R people were not too amused with it either and were very nice to those of us there.

After Saturdays disappointment, it's time for some Middlesex County Cup action, and a chance to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down, and get back to winning ways, before we host  Kingstonian at the weekend.

This competition might not be our highest priority, but it provides Brad with an ideal opportunity to tweak team selection, tighten up at the back, get our forwards firing on all cylinders, put away chances, and convince everyone that we are genuine play-off contenders. What better way to do that, than a confidence boosting win at League high fliers Hampton & Richmond!

Sure everyone will be keeping close tabs on the weather and match updates, after last weeks late postponement.
