Karen Browne
We thought we had it bad with some of the midweek journeys but spare a thought for Hemel Hempstead Town (Step 2) and still players who have daytime jobs. This week sees the Tudors travelling to Truro City on a Tuesday night.
tringarmy
The first attempt was abandoned at half time due to a floodlight failure. Bet that was a long journey home! http://m.westbriton.co.uk/Football-Lights-end-good-week-Truro-City/story-28174806-detail/story.html
Karen Browne
Surely it would have been cheaper for Hemel to stay overnight and replay the game the following day with a 2.00pm kick off
Munchkin
Hemel train in the day during the week so players either don't work or have flexible enough jobs to cope. Would imagine their players are on good money as well. Bit more difficult for the fans though!
OD's
Interesting to know if a midweek replay date has been set for Bodmin v Ipswich Wanderes in the Vase. 700 mile round trip. Surely not. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Ipswich,+Suffolk,+UK/Bodmin/@51.1966781,-4.0260865,7z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x47d907861ed5d887:0x33ddc3ac7d2d42a9!2m2!1d1.14822!2d52.056736!1m5!1m1!1s0x486b6515cb2c631d:0x7a53e2e1d966c06!2m2!1d-4.715114!2d50.46863
Karen Browne
I believe if distance is too great all replays will be the following Saturday now its an open draw
OD's
Thing is, that tie is still a 4th Round game, not national.
Karen Browne
According to the Friday FA Bulletin if the game was played on Saturday and finished level the replay date was Jan 23rd so am assuming it will be the same arrangements this weekend

stingray
Karen Browne, on 17 Jan 2016 - 12:33 PM, said:We thought we had it bad with some of the midweek journeys but spare a thought for Hemel Hempstead Town (Step 2) and still players who have daytime jobs. This week sees the Tudors travelling to Truro City on a Tuesday night. They were - now Truro have decided they'd rather go to Macclesfield for a Trophy replay. TBF, the Non-League paper's fixture list did show both games - unless Truro are sending their reserves to Macc and the first team are still playing Hemel. Karen Browne
Trophy replay takes preference so Hemel's midweek away day will have to wait
RendonBodgers
When Hemel H Town show on company house £2 cash at the bank for 2015, you know there's enough money to be had there to NOT feel sorry for any of there players. Its the hard working travelling support that spend the cash there I feel for. My old school friend Blackers follows them absolutely everywhere without a care for sleep and morning alarms.
