Just heard J.Ward has left Southall to go and join Edgware! Must be quite a bit of money over there to get him in now. Everyone jumping ship over there???

Cheers for the info Lone Ranger :-) A good move for J.Ward on his day he is a top player i would have liked him down at Hanwell Town FC to be honest i kept bringing up his name to the big wigs at the club ;-)

Anyone at "game of the day" Edgware v Crawley G? For me, Div 1 games can't be game of the day, however I see both these teams being in the prem next year. Any reason to think any different? I was close to making the trip but I stayed in my slanket in the end, watching Jeff and the boys.

From their FB page:

Edgware Town 3-1 Crawley Green. ATT:180 In the presence of England C manager and wares patron Paul Fairclough, with the biggest crowd since reforming, Edgware produced a excellent performance from start to finish. playing some excellent football, the wares took the lead through a Bilzy penalty after a foul on him. Within minutes Crawley Green equalised after some confusion between the officials. The wares regained the lead 10 minutes later through a Jay Molloy finish. Nothing more than the wares deserved. HT 2-1, should of been more with the amount of chances missed. The second half, the expected fight back from Crawley Green never materialised, and Sam never had a save to make. Good possession, and several more missed chances before Jack Ward, making his debut as sub was felled in the area, resulting in a penalty and a sending off. Bilzy put the penalty away. 3-1, great performance, fantastic crowd, and vital 3 points. Fantastic team performance, but Bilzy was outstanding, with Gio and Nick controlling those in front of them.
