FF News
Tranmere Rovers manager Gary Brabin was happy to have got back to winning ways over the Christmas period. Tranmere picked up two wins against Macclesfield Town and Altrincham to end 2015 on a high, but Brabin admits that it will mean nothing unless they build on those victories in 2016. He told Tranmere Player: "It was important to get back to winning ways and we're delighted to get back-to-back wins over Christmas but we've got to build on it. We can't rest on our laurels. "There is still a lot of improvement to make but we've done a lot of hard work in the last few weeks which has paid off with these recent results." There are a number of players who are approaching the end of their contracts and the manager says the matters are not far away from being finalised. He added: "Regarding the players who are coming up to the end of their contracts in January, we've been focusing on these games and picking up the points but we're in constant contact. "We haven't really had time to sit down and thrash things out but we're not a million miles away on anything."
