Frogs and Huns !

Recommended Posts

Bin a bit quiet of late in here, so this one'll get you all going !

I am [color:"red"] SO [color:"black"] PLEASED that George W has told the French and Gerries, etc, that they aren't going to be considered for re-building contracts in Iraq.

[color:"red"] Serves them bl**dy well right !

[color:"black"] Somewhat typical, though: Let some other poor bugger do all the dirty work, then expect to drive in and get all the rich pickings afterwards.

I'm gettin a bit pissed off with all those pinko namby-pambies who keep criticising George W.

At least he's got the balls to carry out what he believes in !!

I only partially agree with you on this one. Yes the frogs and the gerries should not be awarded contract in the re-building of Iraq. However, I disagree with you defense of Bush. Whilst I fully supported the war I feel that Bush's and Blair's reasons given for going in were wrong.

Maybe, Mr H, BUT there is a limit to the amount of time one can sit on the fence before one gets a sore bum !

I see the new Iraqi government are considering the Death Sentence for some of those captured from the 'Pack of Cards', IF they are convicted of war crimes !

Could be VERY interesting !

Actually finding some WMDs would have helped the Bush/Blair argument somewhat!

I can't accept the "evil tyrant" justification. Firstly, who decides who (or what) is evil, or a tyrant, in someone else's country? Many people think the same of the US.

Secondly, how do you decide which ones to remove by force - there are plenty more in the world. Most of Africa, for a start. Are we to start invading everyone willynilly? Or only in oill producing regions?

I here what you say Invis but Saddam had taken things too far. He had previously invaded two other countries and had fired weapons at others. He had not done what had been previously agreed with the UN when it came to weapons inspections and his abuse of human right was appalling. I remeber seeing TV footage of explosives being attached to two dissidents. Thankfully the TV did not actually show the final act! Yes, there are plenty of other piraha states in the world but Saddam had gone too far. The invasion was right but the reasons given were wrong.

who decides who is evil is the same as who writes the history of a conflict and that is always the victorious side until the politicaly correct bunch start to re-write the truth.

Bloody 'ell. I agree with Mr H, too! [Where's that soviet?] <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The thing is, the West [in the shape of the USA & its dominion, GB] now have control of (or at the very least, influence over) the world's major opium fields in Afghanistan, and the world's largest oil deposits in Iraq.

The future is bright...and will be populated by motorists hooked on heroin.
