urchinman1961
Where do you start handled the conditions brilliantly but the game overshadowed by the shocking tackle on Tobi looks bad sounded bad wish him all the best been outstanding this season The stay away fans missed an excellent performance against a very good side
cup of tea
Echo the sentiments above, Looked like a bad injury for Tobi , wish him all the best. Awful for him personally and a big blow to us as he's been tremendous for us this season. Second key player we've lost this season. Their player caught him badly and the ref immediately got out the Red card. Get well soon Tobi. As for the game, had the advantage of the wind first half, but we looked a better side in both halves - really just carried on where we left off on Tuesday. One tremendous save from Sam but otherwise we looked fairly solid at the back.
1961 COYS
Great performance, great result, over shadowed by Tobi's bad injury. We can only wish him a speedy recovery.
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
Well controlled game from hornchurch clearly over with by half time. Again,as above, over shadowed by a horrendous tackle on Tobi. Thoughts are with him for a speedy recovery.
Burdy
Best wishes to Tobi for a quick recovery. Thurrock scored their winner in extra time thought they were heading for a draw. Could not make the match today seems I missed a good match.
bridgefan
Was a truly shocking challenge / moment - what the dirty Bury player was doing (particularly as the game was done) is beyond me - a clear red Personally, I think that the ref didn't help by letting quite a lot go during the game - when imo he could/should have booked a couple of their players - doesn't always help by trying to avoid giving cards Best wishes to Tobi and well done to the team for a very good performance (and a clean sheet)
Fat Tom Daley
A great 3-0 win by the lads overshadowed by a horror challenge on Tobi. Hope for a speedy recovery. Really sad especially as he's been one of our players of the season. To be fair to the Bury player, he looked distraught after the challenge. Sadly it's one of those things when playing the beautiful game.
cup of tea
Fair point that Bridgefan made - ref did well with his decision making but was reluctant to give any cards out. Their player was obviously upset but the best thing he could do would have been to get off the pitch and out of the way really.
Robh 1962
Sad thing is that I was sitting just behind the bench and they said they were just about to take Tobi off before the foul. Also a special mention to the Bury fan who said Tobi was to blame! To be fair the other Bury fans with her told her she was wrong.
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
So, Tobi is to blame for his own broken leg.... jog on luv!!
Baron of Black Fen
The official who came off with their number 6 said it was not his fault. Why did he get a straight red I enquired. No answer was the stern reply. Tosser.

cup of tea
I can only guess that the view of the incident was restricted from the opposition dugout. Who shouted 'get up' to Tobi? Crazy.
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
Imo, blatent frustration from the Bury player in the final few minutes as they had lost the game at half time. If the ref had remembered which pocket he kept his cards in, then maybe the Bury player may have been booked earlier on and this incident just might not have happened. I know it's football, and these things happen, but this sort of tackle is not called for.
