Enfield Town v Merstham

This afternoon Town host Ryman Premier division newcomers Merstham, at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, in the first ever league meeting between the two clubs, so a very interesting match in prospect.

Last season 'The Moatsiders' won promotion through the play-offs, and have made an impressive start to life in the Premier Division, currently occupying 13th spot in the table, six points ahead of Town, who have played five less matches.

An intriguing encounter for both clubs, and Town really do need a win and three points from this match, if we are to make a serious challenge for the play-offs in the second half of the season. This will not be an easy match, and Town really will need to be at their best to win.
