cup of tea
Game of two halves, with the wind helping on both halves. First half Brightlingsea used the conditions well early on and dominated play, culminating in their goal. Hornchurch then came into the game with a good work rate making it a more even contest. Second half it was Hornchurch dominating play without actually getting the ball in the back of the net. Brightlingsea had a few attacks but didn't look anywhere near as dangerous as the first half. Finally got the goal and deserved it. Take 1-1 could have grabbed all three points on another day but it's an okay result
Fat Tom Daley
Good point considering the conditions. Onwards and Upwards
Wivenhoe Urchin
Good point earned against a decent side. Their style reminded me of Maldon. I'm surprised both those sides are not further up the league but would expect them to challenge for the play-offs.
1961 COYS
Great fight within this group of players, going to the end and never giving up. This point could be vital come the end of season. COYU
