Bet that supporter was one who thought Matt Miller was a hero and top striker.

What a joke he was.

It's all a matter of opinion but sometimes it's 'bewildering' how some come to such conclusions about certain players but I'm not whiter than white in this regard either, as we're all guilty of having our favourites and preferences to a team.

My viewpoint is to encourage whatever player comes out on to the pitch in a Slough shirt, regardless of whether I like him or not.

My exception to this rule is if you get a Slough player, with a thug mentality who wants to make cowardly tackles from behind or is trying to injure someone on purpose.

Whereas on this forum I just give an honest opinion, without trying to cause offence.

I thought Matt Miller was a good goal poacher type when he first came to Slough and was rightly in the team. Admittedly, in later seasons he lost his edge but I don't agree with you that he was as bad as you are saying.

I recall he was also a nice bloke off the pitch, too.

So I'm in agreement with that joker !

Matt Miller was a top goal poacher in the Yeading team but not sure he ever reached those heights when he came to us.

Some players suit certain styles/formations that teams play and others don't.
