OldTowner
Playing ETFC will be a BIG game for them. Not exactly their cup final, but still a big game for a team coming up through the league. If we wish to progress we will need a strong team performance.

Steph
Brightlingsea a nice town, a few decent pubs and a nice local game for me :-) Decent pubs!!! The only pub I could find serving real ale when cruising the area (in my boat) around 6 years ago was the Railway Tavern to the north west of the town where the railway used to terminate. Stanners66
I'm a few miles up the road in Colchester Steph and there were 4/5 earlier this year! 2 recently closed, but The Rosebud on Hurst Green 5 minutes walk from the centre is a good one :-) Happy to give tours for a lift back so I don't have to drive!!! Steph
Cask Marque shows two in the town. Yachtsmans Arms - Probably in the new residential development by the harbour and Cherry Tree in Church Road. I did not go there 6 years ago. Camra show 7 near the town centre including Railway Tavern which I truly recommend unless it has changed. As I say others did not have real ale 6 years ago but did not go to Rosebud. Recommend the chippie "Winkies" in New Street. Probably the best chip shop in Essex also does a nice sit down meal. http://whatpub.com/search?q=Brightlingsea&t=t&p=1&alt=&lat=51.8106&lng=1.02509&r=10&features=RealAle
MbrunoB
I suddenly woke up at the mention of a chippie.
lovely stuff
The best chip shop in Brightlingsea is Jonny Mac's (formally known as Scooby Snacks until 2012 when Warner Bros threatened legal action) ..They were in the final selection of' Britain's best chip-shop' for quite a few years ..As you head to the seafront (past the school) on Church Road. Its on the right just before Well Street ,just before the Towncentre/Waterfront sign.
