Big J R
They've always been short of 50p's for the meter in Lewes.
Tom S
We've all done it! Not for games called off a fortnight earlier. Yes we've all been caught out by late call-offs on match day. 2.55pm at Yeovil was my personal best.
AnfieldTowner
Think we only got half way to Cardiff though! Used to happen all the time at Southbury Road, before the days of social media....
lovely stuff
Have vague memories of going to Alysbury 3 times in a row and it being called off late every time. Have also turned up at Enfield a few times in the past expecting a home game only to realize instantly that the game must be away ,when i drive into an empty car park. OldTowner
Certainly the Aylsbury trips for games to be called off 15 mins before due ko times. Very frustrating.
Tom S
Have also turned up at Enfield a few times in the past expecting a home game only to realize instantly that the game must be away ,when i drive into an empty car park. Paul Furlong did that once. Arrived at Welling in time to come on as a second-half sub.

Steph
The game was in the fixture list for Billericay game. If I want to be preached at I prefer the Guardian which is owned by a trust rather than a despot.
Tally Ho
If I want to be preached at I prefer the Guardian which is owned by a trust rather than a despot. Wasn`t a pop at you geezer, was in fact sticking up for you stating that the game was still being advertised two days prior, in the most popular rag in the country. I didn`t and don`t buy the paper by the way. :coffee (2):
