Stuntman Mark
9am kick off for those of us going by train. It could get messy. Pre-match shandy in the Lattice House - http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/home/pubs/the-lattice-house Just a short walk from the ground. Let's hope it's more welcoming than the White Horse in Bedworth. Reading Rebel
Good effort from the lads but it sounds like we were a bit below par and simply beaten by the better team on the day.
epicrebel
Yes they are a good side, we could of got a draw out of that game. Another day another Ref/Lino would of given 90+2 Wassail goal Yes they had chances late but we were leaving 3 up. And should of had 1 when they rounded Scotty

epicrebel
Who's Wassail? I'd like to see you only make 1 mistake while going at 160 on the M25 .
Irishadrian
No shame in that result Kings Lynn very much homeboys Only one team in the division has scored more home points well supported also highest gate in the division today 480 although we helped to achieve that total. Irishadrian
There is a very fair and balanced report on the linnets forum full of praise for Mark Scott critical of the refs overall performance and describing the disallowed goal as " for an apparent push" can anyone who was there comment on the disallowed goal? Rebels radio commentators were split. Adrian said no foul ( totally unbiased of course ) and his co commentator said the decision was right. Also sounds like Mark Scott had a blinder and was MOTM by a long way.
Reading Rebel
It'll be interesting to hear the extent of the injuries we've picked up today. Listening to Rebels Radio it seems that Mark Scott, Dan Hicks and more worryingly Nathan Webb, in the left back position, have picked up injuries today. Neil Baker
Rebels radio commentators were split. Adrian said no foul ( totally unbiased of course ) and his co commentator said the decision was right. Also sounds like Mark Scott had a blinder and was MOTM by a long way. Was 100% an incorrect decision by the referee, and that is not me being bias in the slightest.... what made it worse was the ref knew he had made a mistake, and 1 minute later they 100% should have had a penalty yet the ref played on, and that was to try and even it up... Basically their lad got in the way and misjudged a header beyond the keeper him and Hatch were both stretching for the ball which Scott won, and Warren nodded into an empty net, there bench knew they had got away with it also. In terms of the game, we had a few decent spells, but probably were not quite at the races in terms of winning lots of firsts and seconds.... KL had good movement all over the park, but we felt that if we had stepped it up second half the points were there for us.... but it didn't quite happen, and they probably ended up deserved winners. And when they went 2-1 up the game went bitty from our point of view for 20 minutes, and was only the last 5 minutes we started putting them under pressure again, however I think this was partly down to making 3 subs in a short period of time. Is a tough place to go in terms of journey time, and they are a well supported team who made it tough for us, I think if we had come away with a draw today we would have been delighted, however this is a side who have beaten both Poole and Chippenham at home. We have to try and put a side together for Tuesday, as we have picked up a few knocks today.
Irishadrian
Marlows ground waterlogged today and doesnt drain quickly maybe we wont have to put a makeshift side together Thanks Neil for your views on the disallowed goal
HorshamRebel
I've added five more photos into the sequence of the disallowed goal, so the set contains all of the photos taken. For info : The photos of the main part of the action are 1/12 of a second apart.
Stuntman Mark
I was impressed with Kings Lynn, no doubt they had the better of the game and Scotty was superb, keeping us in it with some brilliant saves. Had a very good view of the disallowed goal and I agree with Bakes, it should have stood. Very good setup there and decent support too. A good day out and not too disappointed with the loss, the lads gave it a good crack and just came up short.
