OD's
See that Julian Robinson has left Tring. He has done a great job with a young squad. Next stop - Leighton Town ???
stingray
Bringing a new manager in on a three year plan and giving him the chop after only three months really smacks of desperation. The question is, will Robinson (or anyone else) want it?
OD's
Valid point Stingray. Does seem strange but nothing is simple at Leighton don't you agree. No stability since Sean Downie departed would you say ?

RendonBodgers
All the best Jules. Relax time down the Chels now only! (Or not so relaxed at the moment) Top fella when he was down at Sun, always working to bring the younger lads in and through.
Rebadiah Hongfield
Top manager, but also a top man. It's a sad day for ssml to be losing a character like him. All the best Jules.

No stability since Sean Downie departed would you say ? Seems a bit more stable off the pitch, but on it we just seem to have gone off the rails. I'm beginning to wonder if a few seasons down here might help. Aylesbury United and Dunstable Town managed to sort themselves out, so maybe we can. Rebadiah Hongfield
Read somewhere that Phil Casserley could head back, anyone from Tring know if there's any truth to that? I doubt it. He had quite the spell with Tring and wasn't shy in putting a few quid of his own into the club to fund some pretty top signings.
RendonBodgers
I see Ian Richardson has been install as interim manager ... Suppose son Neil and his old inbetweener like football friends Mahzar Hussain and Craig Mackay will be joining them. Be interesting if tringarmy keith can keep us updated on affairs. tringarmy
We've quite lucky in terms of stability in management (3 managers in 25 years I think) so don't there will be any immediate rush to appoint anyone. Ian Richardson has been involved in either the first team or reserves for about 3 or 4 years so has taken on the role for the moment. I don't know if Ian wants it full time or whether the job will be advertised. As you'd expect a number of hats have already been thrown into the ring but you won't be any hints on here from me! That's some real impressive stability. Tring will be in no rush to appoint, what I'm sure will be, the right man. For me, that isn't Ian Richardson. I can remember watching his Berko side from the flat window and albeit as joint manager, the team wasn't up to scratch. Full of youngsters with no experience, him and the other fella ran the club into the ground!! Although, I have a lot to thank him for, it was that season that I branched out from the comfort of the flat and started to watch other teams from the ssml. I went to grounds, bought the programmes, indulged in a pie, smelt that magic mix of mud/leather/grass/sweat and began my love affair with ssml football. For that Ian Richardson, I thank you. Does old 'Watford Printers Colin' still get along to games? I'll have to get up there for a beer with him soon.
