We lost to a lower ranked team yesterday and that was a big issue, and we had a first X1 playing.

Andy, I wasn't at the match yesterday, but I can fully understand everyone's disappointment. The big issue is WHY we failed to perform against Chesham a couple of weeks ago, and Thamesmead yesterday. Those two reverses alone have cost the club circa £10k+ in much needed prize money.

That's why a club should not rely on prize money to see the season through. There's always some team out there who will beat you.

The Club do NOT rely on Cup income as it is impossible to budget, for the very reason you quote.
