Romford - away 1st November 1.30pm

From what I heard on the radio it sounded like a comfortable victory as we made it that way.

Next round is on the 14th of November so our home game against Merthyr will be re-arranged. Talking of re-arranged games I see our away game against Dunstable which had previously been postponed is now on the 24th of November.

We dominated the game from start to finish, scored some excellent goals and didn't give Romford a chance until the closing stages when Mark Scott made a couple of excellent saves.

Well done to all the players for a job well done and a really comfortable win.

Credit to Romford for not giving up and to the Officials who had very good games.

Don't mind who we get in the draw, at home or local will do and not somewhere like Truro.

Yes nice to be on a cup run again and more importantly  to have started a revenue stream  If we win our next game which will be against a team no higher than our level we will have gained £50  less than £6000 and beyond that lies some big money.

romford were a credit to their league , a game played in the right spirit no whining for spurious fouls / infringments the game was a pleasure to watch. a lot of our regular opponants could take something away in the spirit with the way romford play their football.good luck to them in the future. Well done to the team for scoring early and stopping Romford from getting a foot hold in the game.

Also to Scotty for making some fine saves late on in the game and getting a clean sheet in th process.

Swindon Supermarine in the next round would be handy was dreading driving back to Swindon as the fog was dense going back to Slough on the coach but M4 was not to bad.

Gutted to have missed this.................family birthdays always seem to come on the wrong day.

Thanks to whoever put all the goals on twitter (together with the updates) ....probably next best thing to being there. Well done to all involved and here's hoping for a good draw later.

Any one know what time it is being made>
