Swifty
A handy win after an enjoyable game, played in good spirits, against talented opponents who'd give us a run for our money if they were in the CCFL Premier. The first half was entertaining but needed a goal to fully ignite it. The touch paper was lit when Will Boye, who had a fine game, opened his account for us with a bullet header from a corner in the 52nd. Nippy attack play coupled with lackadaisical defending led to a well taken equaliser by Jamie Humphries in the 67th minute, the least Beckenham deserved for their efforts. Beads gave us the lead again six minutes later with an unstoppable effort from the edge of the box which thumped home off the bottom of the bar, and Josh Andrew (who's rejoined us from Hanworth Villa) capped an excellent display and a man of the match performance with a spritely finish in the 83rd. I'd also like to mention Bradley if I may - no goal and not many shots, but he ran his socks off for the cause. Best of luck to Beckenham Town for the rest of the season. Really good team. As for us, hopefully this performance will put us back on track.
