It was definitely Scott Harris who scored.

Puts injured his back at work this morning so Charlie played wide on the left.

Our lads were superb tonight as were the fans who travelled in good numbers and really got behind the lads which was much appreciated.

Proud managers tonight, it's been a great month.

Bakes/Unders

If you were to win manager of the month ,who  would take the accolade? ;)

What a terrific game and display from our lads, Chippenham had no hangover from saturdays cup match.

The very heavy rain through out the whole game made for a fast and slick pitch must of been great to play on.

Only a deflection stopped us scoring first but our team is now playing with confidence determination spirit and skill and were determaned not to come away pointless.

Charlie Strutton getting stronger every game now showing his class but the whole team showed theirs to.

RR there third goal looked bizarre look forward to seeing it on youtube

Great support for a long midweek trek now a local derby for me.

Must say great that Struts is staying with us a bit longer.

Just a shame that stoney a real classy defender and Declan are returning to Oxford must say you have been superb in the Slough colurs and helping turn around the clubs fortune all the best.

I don't often post but what a performance last night! The team showed great determination to come back 3 times especially after conceding that 3rd goal. The performance towards the end of the first half was quite superb. Due to a personal injury problem I had to sit in the stand and as John Underwood states in his post the performance from the supporters was also great. Let's hope for an all round repeat on Sunday when I am sure Romford will be determined to give us a hard time. Glad to hear that Charlie Strutton is staying for a while and best wishes and thanks to Paul Stonehouse and Declan Benjamin.

I think on any other game we'd have looked at the 3 goals we conceded and some people would go on about how they were preventable. However as everyone has realised, the overall result of last night's game is the more important thing. One of the best matches I've been to in a long time, end to end and both teams trying so hard to win it. We started slowly but grew into the game and played some fantastic football at times. To come back 3 times to take a point is a sign of how far we've come in the last few weeks.

Thought that everyone played their part in what was an excellent game, special mentions to Sear who set up two goals, Strutton for his finishing and Mpi for doing a great job on the left (despite the complaints of those on the sidelines). Chippenham looked very dangerous on the break but we did well overall at the back (the 3rd goal was so unlucky as Scott went to jump on it and it just popped out straight to the striker in soaking conditions).

Well done to the lads, hopefully e can keep this confidence level high and keep playing good football. A real shame if we can't keep Stonehouse as once again he played fantastically well, but thanks to him and Declan for their efforts.

RD, what makes you think it will be on youtube?

BTW the league table on our site is wrong compared to the Southern League site which puts us in eigth position.

It's Biggleswade we have them   W-D-L 8-1-6  League 7-1-7

It's last night's game King's Lynn 2-1 Biggleswade, looks like we've got it the game as a Biggleswade win

They tend to do highlights for all their games, including interview afterwards... I did not see a camera there last night, not to say there wasn't one however.

Really top performance from us last night, some excellent performances all round, the front two were a constant threat also.

Being ultra critical, is always frustrating to concede from your own corner, and I think we switched off a bit for the second goal, the third is just one of those things, long punt upfield which is running through to Scottie on the wet surface only for Guy to duck out of it, and hit him on the back of his head, diverting the ball beyond Scottie, who we though had got to the ball before the striker, having jumped on it only for it to squirm out of his hands for an easy tap in.

I think if we had got out noses in front we would have gone on to win the game....

A very good month in October.

That was one of the best matches I've been to in ages, totally end to end, and the first I've wanted to put the camera down and watch in ages, and that's not due to being soaked through to the skin

Here's the match photos : https://www.flickr.com/photos/horshamrebel/albums/72157660441595951
