Any fog stories...................

..........from last night.

 

Left Hockley at 6.30, no fog at all, got worse then better then worse the a bit better, then much much worse by the time I got to Halstead to see the game called off.

 

Turned straight around to try to get home through the sticks before conditions got even worse. Got back to Hockley and no sign of fog.

Game at Arlesey was abandoned after 25 minutes. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

Struggled to get there as well - accidents on the M25 & A1M.

Woke up this morning, went into my 3 year old's bedroom and opened up the curtains. I said "Look, it's foggy". She looked out and after a few seconds said "I can't see any froggies"!

He took Sharron out in the fog and mist.

Cheshunt game call off after 62 minutes of Tuesday we were 1-0 down against Sawbo in the Herts Senior Cup.

 

The Referee should not have carried on after half time. I was only when the Assistant had to stand on the six yard line to see the goal at a corner he changed his mind.

Nothing to do with fog, but a "kid" story like Mr. Happy's:

I was chatting to my mate's litle girl, and she was telling me that if she had her own way "her God wouldn't be like everyone else's".

So going along with this surreal conversation I asked her: "Is your God omnipotent? Is your God omnipresent? Is he omniscient?"

At which point my little girl interjected: "Is he on the telly?"

 

Cracked me up anyway!!
