Just had a terrific 4.5 hours drive searching for the game at AFC Hillgate. Followed the sat nav to their given postcode to find the ground belongs to some team from the Middlesex league. Just home so the cans are open to calm me down.

 

They ground share with London Tigers

I never said they were. I said that the postcode on AFC's website W12 0AE lead me to a ground owned by a team from the Middlesex league.

A great 2nd half for us today which got us out of trouble, 2 nil down at half time team talk changed the game. St Albans Res good on the ball but with any development side they just lacked experience and a bit of defensive maturity (how to see a game out), but some good young players especially the 10 and captain.

 

Also another great win for Crawley Green, are there any other 100% teams out there?

Berkhamstead are flying in the league right now.

And no real shocks today for the first week in a while.

 

Personally, I went to Broxbourne - Hertford today. Best match I've seen in a while. Could easily have finished a rugby score either way.

H relentless and hitting the woodwork numerous times and B always a danger on the break. Very entertaining game of football.

 

Well mannered and refereed might I add. Considering what I'd heard last week.

Tough for us in the league at the moment. Struggling to score goals given the chances were creating and then getting punished for defensive and goalkeeping errors.

Sometimes football is not a happy pastime.

 

On another topic. I've been playing top eleven for a long while and I have now downloaded the Biggleswade shirts for my team Southall FC. The irony is not lost on me.
