Well, people knock Bas but atleast we don't fight in the bar. Are players keep the competitive spirit on the pich. Maybe Mr Challinor needs to go to Argos for Christams. Buy a mirror and let his team have a good look and how they represent the ESL , who's reputation is obviously precious to your club. Can we have a tooth back? Love the Whistler

Might be better if "Mr Challinor" bought you a dictionary, as you quite clearly need one.

For Robson : Never heard of you , don't come on here giving the big'un. People mistake during life , just look at you .

I could equally say I've never heard of you either so don't come on here giving the incomprehensible 'un. But I'm too polite for that.

PS who IS Mr Challinor?

The fight broke out because a player from Burnham was winding Brad Quinn up about his sending off, and started blowing kisses at him. Burnham officals reacted over the top, by trying to stop anybody from Enfield leaving,k which includes players and suppourters alike. Thus making the situation worse. I heard it was a beauty of a punch, so never wind up a man that's been a commando.

It would seem some action should be taken
against the club, players and its supporters.

What a pathetic comment! Firstly, why take action against the supporters? what have they done wrong here? Secondly, why take action against the club? This is an isolated incident. If it happened regularly then yes, action should be taken against the club. Thirdly, the incident did not happen on the field of play so surely it is outside the ESL jurisdiction. I understand that the police did get involved but the Burnham player decided not to take things further.

End of matter. Discussion closed!

Bloody hell, you really are behaving a bit pedantically. How many unsavoury incidents take place at football grounds at all levels. I bet there were a number at Southbury road over the years. This was a one off incident that didn't even devlop into anything much. I guess all your baying for interraction from the powers that be is just because you are jealous of our success. Get back in your pram you numpty!

Hmm, so the Burnham police were called. I picture an portly, elderly village policeman eventually arriving on his bicycle, pulling out his notebook and licking his pencil, saying "Now then, what's all this 'ere then?".

So presumably this means that the player concerned will be called up to the England squad, and then sent home again?
